Plush Puffs Gourment Marshmallows
Ann Hickey is a Midwesterner from birth and in heart, but now resides in the Los Angeles area. Arriving to the outskirts of LA in the mid 70’s she finished high school, graduated from Cal State Northridge with a BA in Psychology and continued on to get her Masters in Public Health there as well. She began her work life at the University of Southern California working with students as a Health Promotion and Prevention Specialist. With nearly a decade of work at USC, marriage and a couple of children later, it was time to move on.
With a special interest in food and health, she entered culinary school and started a new career as a chef and caterer. Soon after, she was presented with a challenge to make Pumpkin marshmallows. Being the marshmallow fiend that she was (and still is), she took on the challenge. Her and a colleague soon began what would become Plush Puffs Marshmallows. Her mission was to create an all natural brand and explore the world of vibrant flavors. Nearly fifteen years and many millions of marshmallows later, Plush Puffs Marshmallows thrives as a premier hand crafted marshmallow company. Ann is both CEO and President and proud to supply both national and regional restaurants, hotels and resorts, caterers along with a wide variety of retailers. Marshmallows are not Ann’s only love, she is an avid cyclist and somewhat overly competitive tennis player.
