Vice President, Global Production Planning
Brian has 20 years of supply chain experience and currently serves as Vice President, Global Production Planning for Dell. He is responsible for end to end supply chain orchestration, with specific focus on backlog planning, ship planning, capacity planning, order management, production control, escalation management, and customer experience. His team collaborates with Dell and ODM manufacturing facilities, logistics, materials, and supply chain planning teams to accomplish key performance goals for backlog, cycle time and on-time delivery.
Brian joined Dell in 2002 as a Reverse Logistics Project Manager. Over his 13+ years at Dell, Brian has held 10 different roles spanning the supply chain, which have allowed him to have a strong understanding of Dell’s supply chain and the required interactions with other organizations throughout Dell. His roles have included responsibilities in reverse logistics, supply chain planning, logistics, quality, manufacturing, and strategy development.
Prior to Dell, Brian was a Senior Manager with Arthur Andersen Business Consulting. He led supply chain consulting engagements for numerous clients in a variety of industries including consumer electronics, telecommunications, CPG, government, oil and gas, and retail.
Brian holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University as well as an MBA and MS in Engineering Systems from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
