Vice President Global Operations
Chris Drees is the Vice President of Global Operations for Mercury Marine, based in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Mercury Marine, as part of the Brunswick Corporation, is the world’s leading manufacturer of marine propulsion systems and has been recently awarded the Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year.
Chris joined Brunswick in 1998 and has held a variety of positions within the company including roles in purchasing, sales, marketing, and general management. Prior to beginning his current role in June 2014, Chris was Chief Operating Officer and President of Attwood Corporation – a Division of Brunswick located in Lowell, MI.
Chris held various positions including management roles within Newell Rubbermaid and Hormel prior to joining Brunswick. He sits on the Board of Directors for the National Marine Manufacturers Association and the Wisconsin Business Sustainability Council. Chris earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, an MBA from Marquette University, CPIM designation through APICS and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
